Day 031

• Nice, on the Cote d’ Azur, the ‘Queen of the French Riviera’.Get set for a memorable experience on board the TGV.
  This morning after a continental breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to the station to board the TGV to Nice - the queen of the French Rivieria. Today lunch will be provided. On arrival, enjoy an orientation tour of Nice. Free time to take a leisurely stroll along ‘Promenade Des Anglais, a broad sea-front avenue that resembles a mile-long outdoor café. Relax on the beach amidst the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea on the French Riviera. Enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight at Hotel Apogia or similar in Nice or similar.

Day 04

• Visit Cannes, Monaco and Monte Carlo. Enjoy the magnificent views as you drive via Eze Village. Also visit a perfume factory.
  After a Continental breakfast at your hotel, we take you to Cannes – ‘Star city’ of the Cote d’ Azur, famous for its prestigious events, especially the International film festival, the most important of them all. The classy Promenade de la Croissette, the Palais des Festivals, the Avenue of Stars where a thousand handprints of famous celebrities have been immortalized.We drive you to Eze Village – perched at the height of an imposing cliff, to visit a perfumery ‘Fragonard’. Here you will see a demonstration of how French perfumes are made. This afternoon, lunch will be provided. Next, proceed to the wealthy principality of Monaco and Monte Carlo – one of the smallest states in Europe and a genuine high point of your tour. Photograph yourself with the Grand Palace, in the backdrop, the residence of Prince Albert, the Ruler of Monaco. You will be amazed at the spectacular views from Monaco and Monte Carlo over the Mediterranean Sea. You also have an opportunity to try your luck at the Grand Casino, the most famous casino in Europe. Day 05

• Visit Pisa and see one of the wonders of the world, ‘The Leaning Tower of Pisa’. On to Rome – the eternal city with world-renowned monuments.
  Today, after a continental breakfast at your hotel, sit back and relax in your coach as we drive to Pisa, to visit the Square of Miracles. Remain spellbound as you approach this precariously leaning tower. Photograph your family with the Leaning Tower in the backdrop. You also have some free time to shop for souvenirs. This afternoon, Indian lunch will be provided. Later, check-in to your hotel and relax. Enjoy a delicious Indian dinner tonight. Overnight at Hotel Largo Verde or similar in Pisa.

Day 06

• Guided city tour of Rome. Visit the world’s smallest country – the Vatican City - See the magnificent St. Peter’s Church. Re-live the history of Rome on the ‘Time Elevator’.
  After a continental breakfast in your hotel, check out, sit back and relax in your coach as we drive you to Rome. On arrival enjoy a hot Indian meal. Next, we take you on a city tour of Rome with an English- speaking guide to the Vatican City – the smallest state in the world. (Shorts or sleeveless vests not allowed.) Visit the holy basilica of St. Peter’s – the incomparable home of architectural and artistic masterpieces by Michelangelo and Bernini which will leave you awestruck. Next, see the Colosseum known for its gladiator fights, the Victor Emmanuel monument on Piazza Venezia under which lies the Tomb of the unknown soldier, Circus Maximus known for its chariot races, the ancient ruins of Roman Forum. Day 07

• Guided city tour of Florence – the cradle of the Renaissance, former home of the Medicis.
  After a continental breakfast in your hotel, sit back and relax in your coach as we drive to Florence. On arrival enjoy Indian Lunch. Later proceed on a guided city tour of Florence. See the Duomo, the Campanile, the Baptistry with its Gates to Paradise, Piazza Della Signoria – an open-air museum of sculptures, the famous Ponte Vecchio – bridge across the river Arno and Santa Croce where Michelangelo, Galileo and many famous Italian personalities are buried. Drive to Piazzale Michelangelo, a square on top of a hill with its replica of the impressive statue of David and also get a bird’s eye view of the city of Florence. Day 08

• Romantic Venice – crossed by canals, beautiful monuments. World famous Gondola ride included too!Proceed to Innsbruck, in picturesque Austria at the crossroads of Europe.
  After a continental breakfast, check-out and drive to Venice. On arrival in Venice set off on a private boat to the heart of the traditional city of Venice – The St Mark’s Square. This astonishingly wonderful lagoon city is a special delight to visitors. Sail over the Guidecca Canal, as you catch a glimpse of the serene waters of the Adriatic Sea. On arrival, admire the St. Mark’s square with the Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Campanile and the Bridge of Sighs. You will be taken on an unforgettable Gondola ride through the smaller canals for a true picture of this lagoon city. Also visit the Murano Glass showroom. Today we have specially arranged a hot Indian lunch with some lively scintillating Italian music on board a private cruise for our valued guests. • Swarovski Museum – the headquarters of crystals. Visit Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein. Enjoy a toy train ride in Vaduz. Next, proceed to Engelberg – a beautiful resort in central Switzerland.
  This morning, after a continental breakfast, you are ready to proceed to Wattens, where you will visit the worldfamous Swarovski Crystal Museum. Enjoy a fascinating experience into the ‘world of crystals’. An experience that leaves you amazed at the dazzling glitter as you walk through this museum. A great opportunity to buy a souvenir for your family. Enjoy a delicious Indian lunch. Drive through the Arlberg tunnel into the tiny principality of Liechtenstein, which covers an area of 160 sq.km. Experience a mini – train journey specially included for you to enjoy a tour of this picturesque capital town – Vaduz. Day 10

• Join us on an all inclusive Alpine excursion tour to the wonderful world of Jungfraujoch – the top of Europe – at 3,454 meters. Enjoy a champagne lunch on top.   This morning, after a continental breakfast, we shall drive you to visit the impressive glacier falls, deep inside the mountain – the Trummelbach falls. They are the only glacier falls of their kind in the world, which have been made accessible. Truly an unforgettable experience. Next, get ready for an adventurous ride to visit Jungfraujoch – the Top of Europe, for a memorable encounter with snow and ice – a genuine ‘high-point’ of your tour! Sit back in your coach as we proceed to the beautiful town of ‘Lauterbrunnen’, where the excitement continues. You will be amazed at the scenic splendor that you see from aboard the ‘cog-wheel’ train, which takes you to a height of 3,454 meters to reach Jungfraujoch! • Today, get set for a day full of fun and excitement as we take you to visit Mt. Titlis with its beautiful scenery and an adventurous ride up the snow-clad Swiss Alps in Rotair – the world’s first revolving cable-car. Visit scenic Lucerne. Gala dinner on Lake Lucerne cruise.
  After a continental breakfast at your hotel, check-out and sit back in your coach as we take you on one of the most memorable experiences of your Europe tour – visiting Mt. Titlis and Lucerne. Adventure awaits you in a sensational cable-car ride up to Mt. Titlis. Marvel at the world’s first revolving cable-car ride, a truly once-in-a lifetime experience. Next, drive into Schauffhausen to view the magnificent Rhine Falls. Cross over into Germany and arrive at the breathtakingly beautiful lake of Titisee, the heart of the Black Forest, surrounded by dark fir forests and flowering meadows. Here is ‘Drubba’, the home of the world-famous cuckoo clock. Get invited for a free demonstration and buy one for your home – a prized possession. Today, enjoy an Indian lunch. Day 15

• Amsterdam – a city full of surprises. Visit Keukenhof till 16th May. 17th May onwards, visit Madurodam and see Holland in miniature. Explore Amsterdam on an exciting canal cruise. Also included is a visit to the Cheese Farm, Wooden Shoe Factory. Travel in style on board a cruise to London.
  After a Continental breakfast, sit back and relax in your coach as we proceed to Keukenhof – the largest spring garden in the world. Bulbs of colorful tulips bloom only till 16th May. Be enchanted by the indoor floral displays and colorful flower beds amongst ancient trees. 17th May onwards, we take you to visit Madurodam, where you can see 6 most of Holland in miniature, replicated in minute detail on a 1:25 scale. Also visit a cheese farm and a wooden shoe factory. See a demonstration of how farm cheese is made and wooden shoes are carved out of wooden blocks. You also have a chance to taste some cheese. Next, arrive into Amsterdam and board your glass-topped boat as we sail through the canals for an exciting canal cruise.   This morning, after continental breakfast at your hotel, we take you to visit the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum. This museum houses a unique collection of world’s largest wax works of famous personalities, including India’s top leaders and film stars. Relish a hot Indian lunch. Next, we take you on the famous London Eye – the world’s largest observation wheel. Be enchanted by this new and novel way of seeing the city from a birds eye view, as the London Eye takes you on a 30 minute flight, rising to 450 feet above the river Thames and a panorama of some of London’s most famous streets, churches, palaces and monuments are spread out before you. MEDICAL INSURANCE

WHAT YOUR TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE

• • Rs. 5000 – cost of deviation, in case you want to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in the brochure.
  • Cost of Basic Travel Quota equivalent to USD 10, 000.
  • Any increase in the airfare charged by the airline on your air ticket (presently calculated as of November 30, 2009 rates).
  • No porterage included.
  • Any expenses of personal nature such as porterage, laundry expenses, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us, minibar, telephone calls etc.
  • Tips of any nature i.e. drivers, guides etc.
  • Meals other than that what is mentioned in your itinerary.
  • Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in ‘What your tour price includes’.

POINTS TO BE NOTED

• • Passengers joining this tour must travel to / from the hub city at their own expense.
• • The airfare is based on the fare structure existing as November 30, 2009. Any further increase in the airfare due to an increase in the fuel price, change in Government regulations, taxes, etc. charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers. Thomas Cook will not be held responsible for the same.
• • Indian Lunches and Dinners are pre set and a - la carte is not possible.
• • Breakfast will be continental which includes tea, coffee, cereal, juice, bread, butter, marmlade.
• • Indian lunches are vegetarian lunches. At times packed lunches will be served
• • Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Thomas Cook will not be liable for the same.
• • The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers. Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
• • Incase of delay/ breakdown of the caravan, alternate arrangements will be made
• .• The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, flight, bus, ship or other services.
• • Due to private coaches being forbidden inside the city of Rome, Florence most of your sightseeing will be done by local bus and by foot. The Tour Manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible.
• • On certain dates, the St. Peters Cathedral in Vatican could be closed. The Tour Manager reserves the right to change/amend itinerary
• • Due to major international events such as the Air Show, World Athletic Meet, the Motor Show in Paris, and major trade fairs all over Europe, the hotels may be blocked out more than 2 years in advance. In view of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities and the itineraries may have to be altered / amended.
• • We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.
• • We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised.
• • For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However all the services will remain the same.
• • There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized in your tour.
• • Incase you decide to change the date of your return reservation once confirmed a fee amounting to USD 75 is payable by you directly to the airline. • Tours operated are subject to RBI/GOI regulations. Part of the tour cost will be paid in EURO/CHF out of your BTQ.
